Vaporized Hydrogen Peroxide, Humidity and Temperature Measurement HPP270 Series for Bio-Decontamination Processes

The Vaisala PEROXCAP® Hydrogen Peroxide, Humidity, and Temperature Probe HPP270 series probes HPP271 and HPP272 are designed for demanding hydrogen peroxide bio-decontamination where repeatable, stable, and accurate measurement is essential. HPP270 series probes are suitable for a variety of applications such as isolator, material transfer hatch, and room bio-decontamination. The new, basic probe option HPP271 is for measuring only H₂O₂ vapor concentration whereas the advanced HPP272 provides all the parameters you need to measure during bio-decontamination processes: hydrogen peroxide vapor, temperature, and humidity as relative saturation and relative humidity. Now also dew point and vapor pressure measurements are possible.

The probes can be used as standalone devices, or with Vaisala Indigo transmitters: Indigo200 transmitters or Indigo520 transmitters. For easy-to-use access to configuration, calibration, and adjustment the probe can be connected to Vaisala Insight PC software.

Measures reliably and accurately even in high humidity

Intelligent measurement technology including the chemical purge function helps to maintain accuracy between calibrations in challenging environments. The purging process involves rapid heating of the sensor to remove possible contamination. The PEROXCAP sensor used in the HPP270 series probes is warmed, which prevents condensation from forming on the sensor. This provides reliable measurement even in condensing conditions.

3 measurement parameters in 1 instrument

In addition to hydrogen peroxide, the compact HPP272 measures temperature and humidity, referring to both relative humidity and relative saturation. This gives exact hydrogen peroxide readings in ppm throughout the whole bio-decontamination cycle. Dew point and vapor pressure measurements are possible.
